What this site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Draft notice. This is a working draft written to match what the site actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It is drafted around UK/EU data protection concepts, which needs confirming now the operating entity is US-based — state law such as the CCPA may apply instead of, or as well as, what is described here. The registered entity name and company number are still to be filled in. Have it checked and completed before the site goes live.

Who we are

US UK Tax Accountants Ltd (“we”) is the controller for personal data collected through this website. Our registered office and company number are to be confirmed. You can reach us at info@gettaxhub.com or .

What we collect when you contact us

The enquiry form on this site asks for the following. Nothing else is collected through it, and we would ask you not to send tax reference numbers, dates of birth or documents until we have agreed how to exchange them securely.

Name
So we know who we are replying to.
Email address
To send you a reply.
Company
Optional. Helps us route the enquiry.
Phone number
Optional. Only used if you ask us to call.
Your message
The details you choose to give us.

We also record the page you sent the enquiry from, so we know which service you were reading about.

Why we are allowed to hold it

For enquiries, our basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, together with our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us about our services. If you go on to become a client, we hold your data to perform our contract with you and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to accountants.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted after a period to be confirmed. Client records are kept for the retention period required of us by law and our professional body, which is longer.

Who else sees it

This site is hosted on Vercel. If email delivery is enabled, form submissions are passed to our email provider purely to deliver them to us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Cookies

We store one cookie to remember your cookie choice. Everything else is optional and is only set if you agree to it. The categories are:

Necessaryalways on
Required for the site to function — page navigation, security, and remembering this cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
Preferences
Remember choices you make, such as your region or the settings you last used, so the site behaves consistently.
Statistics
Help us understand how visitors use the site by collecting and reporting information anonymously.
Marketing
Used to track visitors across websites so that we and our partners can show relevant advertising.

Your choice is remembered for twelve months, after which we ask again. You can change it whenever you like: .

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time, which does not affect anything done beforehand. Email info@gettaxhub.com and we will respond within one month.

Which rights you have, and which regulator you can complain to, depends on where you live rather than where we are. Clients in the UK or EU can raise a complaint with their national data protection authority — in the UK that is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date below. This version is a pre-launch draft and is not yet dated.
